Gustavo Bonatto Barreto (born December 10, 1995 in Nova Prata , RS ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The right foot predominantly plays in defensive midfield.

Career

Barreto started his career at Criciúma EC . Here he was already playing for the club's youth teams and made it to the professional squad in 2014. On November 23, 2014 played in Serie A against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro until he was substituted in the 79th minute. The following season they played in Serie B in 2015 . The player reached the 12th place with the team. As a result, Barreto came to regular missions. After the state championship in Santa Catarina , in which Baretto played twelve games, he was loaned to Chapecoense for the 2018 championship round until the end of 2018 .

His next loan followed at the end of the season. For 2019 he was loaned to Red Bull Brasil . The takeover of CA Bragantino (since 2020 Red Bull Bragantino ) by Red Bull in April 2019 and the merger of the squad of RB Brasil and CA Bragantino, Baretto played the championship round in 2019 in the Série B . During the season Bragantino was able to win the championship and thus the promotion to the Série A. Barreto appeared in 27 games.
