Gustavo César Veloso (born January 29, 1980 in Villagarcía de Arosa ) is a Spanish cyclist .

Athletic career

Gustavo César Veloso began his career in 2001 with the Portuguese team Carvalhelhos-Boavista . He drove there for three years before moving to Relax-Fuenlabrada . From 2005 he drove for the Spanish Professional Continental Team Kaiku . At the Vuelta a Castilla y León 2006 he was seventh overall. In the same year he won a stage of the Tour of Portugal . In 2007 César Veloso moved to Karpin / Xacobeo Galicia . In 2009 he won the 9th stage of the Vuelta as an outlier . After his contract with Xacobeo Galicia expired in 2010, he stayed without a team for a year before signing with Andalucía .

After César Veloso had won a stage of the Tour of Portugal in 2013, he managed to win the overall ranking of this stage race in each of the following two years. In 2016 he won three stages as well as the points classification of the tour.
