Gustavo Eberto

Gustavo Eberto (born August 30, 1983 in Paso de los Libres , † September 3, 2007 in Buenos Aires ) was an Argentine football player .

Gustavo Eberto played from 2003 to 2006 for the traditional Argentinian club Boca Juniors . There the goalkeeper completed two league games. In 2006 he moved to Club Atlético Talleres , where he was once in a second division game in goal. For the Argentine U-20 national team he played 26 games for the U-23 national team five. In 2003 he took part in the Junior Soccer World Cup and finished fourth with his team, winning the U-20 South American Championship. Eberto died in 2007 at the age of 24 of testicular cancer , which was diagnosed in early 2006.
