Gustavo Segundo Moscoso Huencho (born August 10, 1955 in Tocopilla ) is a former Chilean and naturalized Mexican soccer player , who mainly played in midfield and worked as a soccer coach after his active career .

career

Moscoso spent his first professional years at the CD Universidad Católica , where he was under contract until 1983. He quickly made the leap to the Chilean national soccer team , for which he made a total of 21 international appearances between 1976 and 1982 and scored four goals. The highlight of his international playing career was his participation in the 1982 World Cup , in which Moscoso was used in all three group games (Chile lost all matches and was therefore eliminated early) and in the 1: 4 defeat in the second group game against the DFB team scored the only goal for the Chileans.

In the summer of 1983 Moscoso moved to Mexico , where he was under contract for six years with Puebla FC , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1987/88 season. Just before the 1989/90 season he moved to Atlético Morelia and was therefore not one of the most successful team in the history of Puebla FC, which won the double ( championship and cup) this season , which means that the Camoteros also have a "no-fight" Supercup - Winner. Moscoso spent his last station in the 1991/92 season with the UANL Tigres .

After his active career, Moscoso worked as a coach for years and was among other things in the coaching staff of Puebla FC and as the head coach of its less important city rivals Lobos de la BUAP in action.
