Guus Hoogmoed
Guus Hoogmoed (born September 27, 1981 in Utrecht ) is a former Dutch sprinter .
At the World Athletics Championships in 2003 in Paris / Saint-Denis, he was used in the run-up to the 4 x 100 meter relay and thus contributed to winning the bronze medal for the Dutch team.
In 2005 he was fourth over 200 m at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid . At the World Cup in Helsinki he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and 200 m. In 2006 he retired from the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg over 200 m in the semi-finals and came in eighth place with the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay.
At the 2007 World Cup in Osaka, he reached the quarter-finals. In 2008 he was part of the Dutch relay, which was disqualified in the final at the Olympic Games in Beijing due to a faulty change.
Four times in a row he was Dutch champion over 200 m, in 2005 and 2007 also over 100 m. In the hall he won the national title twice in the 60 m (2006, 2008) and the 200 m (2005, 2012).
