Guy Lorin Reschenthaler (born April 17, 1983 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American politician ( Republican Party ) and former judge. Since January 2019 he has represented the 14th district of the state of Pennsylvania in the House of Representatives of the United States .

Career

Reschenthaler completed a Bachelor of Political Science from Behrend College, Pennsylvania State University . He then studied law at Duquesne University until 2007 . After graduating, Reschenthaler joined the United States Navy , for which he served until 2012. In 2013, he was elected district judge and practiced as a lawyer in Pittsburgh.

In November 2015, he was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate, where he represented the 37th district until his election to the United States House of Representatives. In November 2018, he won the seat for the 14th district of his state in the election to the United States House of Representatives . He accepted his mandate on January 3, 2019.
