Gyele (also Babinga, Bagiele, Bagyele, Bajele, Bajeli, Bako, Bakola, Bakuele, Bekoe, Bogyel, Bogyeli, Bondjiel, Giele, Gieli, Gyeli and Likoya) is a Bantu language and is used by about 4,280 people in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea spoken .

It is widespread in Cameroon in the Océan district in the Sud province with around 4250 speakers and in Equatorial Guinea in the northwestern coastal area with around 30 speakers (as of 1998).

classification

Gyele is a northwest Bantu language and belongs to the Makaa Njem group , which is classified as Guthrie Zone A80.
