The Trittau grammar school is a state grammar school in Trittau . Over 1000 students are taught by around 80 teachers (as of 2011).

The grammar school was founded in 1983 and later became the district grammar school. At the beginning of 2008, the Trittau School Association became the new school authority.

particularities

The grammar school has been a MINT grammar school since 2002 with a special focus on mathematics, natural sciences and computer science and was thus the only one in Schleswig-Holstein until 2006. On 30 October 2019 the High School of the Education Minister was Karin Prien as Youth Research School of the Year 2019 award.

There has been a long-term cooperation with a partner school in Ailanga (Tanzania). Further school partnerships are maintained with schools in Spain, France, Hungary, Finland and Estonia.

In addition, there has been a partnership with East High School in Salt Lake City , Utah since 2011 . A first visit by German students to the United States took place between September 24 and October 15, 2011.
