Tankred Lerch (born January 10, 1970 in Lübeck ) is a German author , screenwriter and TV producer .

Career

Tankred Lerch first studied law after graduating from high school and then completed a journalistic traineeship at Radio Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel . Until 1997 he worked at RSH as an editor and presenter for the Morning Show, among other things, and also presented the NDR youth broadcaster N-Joy Radio .

In 1997 Lerch switched from radio to the television production company Brainpool in Cologne and initially wrote as a freelance writer for The Harald Schmidt Show . At the start of Stefan Raab's TV total , he was then part of the permanent team of authors of the show, which was also produced by Brainpool and broadcast for the first time on ProSieben in 1999, which won the German TV Prize , the Comedy Prize in 1999 and the Bronze Rose of Montreux ( Rose d'Or ) in 2001 has been. Among other things as headwriter and executive producer for Kayas Deutschlandtour (2009, RTL) with Kaya Yanar , as headwriter and creative producer for Goldrausch am Yukon - The adventure of your life (2018, Dmax), as headwriter for extra 3 - Der real Irrsinn XXL ( 2017, NDR) and among others for the music show series The Dome (2006–2008, RTL2). His column Hans & Ich was published on the author's blog Carta between 2012 and 2013 .

From 2012 to 2014 he was chief author, producer and realizer for the Krömer - Late Night Show ( ARD ), in which u. a. Feature films from the shooting of Bundeswehr troops stationed in Afghanistan are included. Together with Kurt Krömer , Lerch traveled to Afghanistan twice between 2012 and 2013. The first trip took place at the invitation of the German Armed Forces on the occasion of a performance by Kurt Krömers as part of the so-called troop entertainment. For the second time Kurt Krömer and Tankred Lerch traveled on their own to get an impression of the country far away from the Bundeswehr camps. The impressions after both trips flowed into the book A trip to where nobody really wants to go. Visiting Afghanistan. one, which was published in 2013 by the Kiepenheuer & Witsch publishing house and has been a bestseller several times.

As an author, Lerch also writes for image films and commercials, including the Eurowings campaign published in 2018 and starring Christoph Maria Herbst as Nörgler Jochen. Since 2013 he has been teaching media technology and dramaturgy as a freelance lecturer at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Austria and has been a freelance writer for the satire magazine of Norddeutscher Rundfunk extra 3 since 2017 . a. writes for Christian Ehring and Kirstin Warnke . He is present as a showrunner for the talk show about series SERIöS, which will be broadcast monthly on ARD ONE from 2019 - the series quartet with Ralf Husmann , Kurt Krömer , Annie Hoffmann and Annette Hess .

In 2019 the Beltz & Gelberg publishing house Tankred Lerch's youth novel Der Rüberbringer or An insane trip between life and death was published.
