The leaves measure 5 to 10 × 1.3 to 2 millimeters and are inverted-lanceolate, more or less pointed and green.

The inflorescence is a very loose and multi-flowered panicle . The bracts are 1.5 to 4 millimeters long and obscure-lanceolate. The flower stalk is 5 to 10 millimeters long. The calyx is bell-shaped, 2 to 4 millimeters long and divided over two thirds of the length. The calyx teeth are elongated, pointed to pointed, 0.6 to 1.5 millimeters long and membranous at the edges. The petals are 3 to 6 × 1.8 to 2 millimeters in size, whitish or pink, wedge-shaped and edged. The capsules are 2 to 3.8 × 1.3 to 1.8 millimeters in size, elongated and sunk into the calyx. The seeds are 0.6 to 0.8 × 0.5 to 0.8 millimeters in size, black-brown to blackish and kidney-shaped to almost spherical. There are flat tubercles on their surface. Each capsule contains six to ten seeds.
