Gypsyhook EP is the first and only EP from Sonny Moore under the stage name Sonny . It was first published on April 7, 2009 after Moore had already disclosed the track list on December 12, 2008 on his Myspace page. The album has a running time of 35:38 minutes and is musically dominated by electronica and synth rock . The album is Sonny Moore's first after his band From First to Last split up .

reception
The album received mixed reviews, but some negative ones. Joe DeAndrea, for example, said about the EP:
"All in all, you shouldn't judge something based on the cover, but Gypsyhook's art is almost dead on to how the music is: it's of Sonny Moore vomiting."
"All in all, you should rate an album independently of the cover, but this shows what the music is like: It's about Sonny Moore vomiting."
He awarded 39 out of a possible 100 points.
