Bangarang is a song by the US electro , dub and brostep producer Skrillex . The song was first released on February 16, 2012 and contains rap lyrics by Sirah . The song comes from Skrillex's EP Bangarang of the same name .
The title is a reference to the 1991 film Hook , in which "Bangarang" is the "battle cry" of the Lost Boys . The song was able to reach the charts in twelve countries. The music video was shot by Tony Truand and first released on YouTube on February 16, 2012 . In Australia, the song could reach platinum status.
criticism
The song usually received positive reviews from music critics, with some saying it was one of the standout pieces from the EP of the same name.
