The Hädderbach is an approximately three kilometer long tributary of the Schwarza and the Oberhainer Dorfbach. It rises east of the Barigauer Höhe (665 m) and flows in the valley between Ziegenberg (460 m) and Elmischer Berg (529 m) in a northerly direction, before flowing into the Schwarza on the left near the Sitzendorf train station . Gold panning is possible in Hädderbach . A gold-bearing gravel deposit is cut into the lower area of the stream. In 1999 a nugget with a mass of 5.23 g was found here.
