The Barigauer Höhe is 664.6 m above sea level. NHN high elevation in the Thuringian Slate Mountains not far from Barigau , a district of Königsee in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia . On the summit is the Barigau tower with an adjoining excursion restaurant. The tower was built in 1912 by the Thuringian Forest Association . There is a view of the Schwarza and Rinnetal as well as the Thuringian Forest , the Leuchtenburg in Seitenroda, the Kulm (481.9 m ) near Saalfeld and the Drei Gleichen near Arnstadt . The Oberweißbacher Bergbahn can be observed on the south-facing mountain slope .
