Håvard Tvedten (born June 19, 1978 in Flekkefjord , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player . His body length is 1.83 m.
Tvedten, who last played for the Danish club Aalborg Håndbold and ran for the Norwegian men's national handball team, was mostly used on the left wing .
Håvard Tvedten made his debut for Stord IL in the second Norwegian division and later rose to the first division with the men from Hordaland . In 2002 he moved to the Danish first division club AaB Håndbold in Aalborg , where he stayed for four years. In 2006 he moved on to BM Ciudad de Logroño in the Spanish league ASOBAL . From 2008 Tvedten ran for BM Valladolid, with whom he won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2009 . From the summer of 2011 Tvedten played for the Danish first division club Aalborg Håndbold. With Aalborg he won the championship in 2013. In December 2013, he extended his contract until 2016. After the end of his contract, he ended his active career.
Håvard Tvedten played 208 international matches for the Norwegian men's national handball team . His greatest successes with Norway were seventh place at the 2005 World Cup and sixth place at the 2008 European Championship in his own country. At the 2011 World Cup , Tvedten was selected as the best left winger in the Allstar team, although he only finished ninth with his team.
Tvedten works for the aid organization Right to Play in Palestine, among others .
