Héctor Berra

Héctor Berra (born September 23, 1909 in Buenos Aires ; date of death unknown) was an Argentine long jumper , sprinter , shot putter and decathlete .

At the South American Athletics Championships, he won the decathlon in Lima in 1929 . In 1931 in Buenos Aires he defended his title in the decathlon and won the long jump.

In 1932 he was seventh in the long jump at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . Over 100 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run, and in the decathlon he gave up after the second discipline.

He then defended his title in long jump at the South American Championships in Montevideo in 1933 and won silver in the shot put in São Paulo in 1937 .
