The Hôtel de Champagney was built in 1565 for Jacques Bonvalot, Seigneur de Champagney . Today it is owned by the city of Besançon.

architecture

The building has a Renaissance facade on the street side with lattice windows and gargouille gargoyles . On the courtyard side, wooden external galleries can be seen resting on pillars .
