Höcker Polytechnik is an international technology company with its main factory in Hilter am Teutoburg Forest and numerous domestic and foreign branches . Höcker Polytechnik designs, plans and builds ventilation systems, briquetting presses and individual solutions for air pollution control and process waste disposal for industrial and craft businesses. The company is a leading manufacturer of suction and filter systems as well as pneumatic conveying systems for the cardboard and corrugated cardboard industry in Germany.

In 2013 Höcker Polytechnik had a turnover of 40 million euros with its more than 50,000 systems worldwide.

history

In 1962 Günther Höcker founded Polytechnik as a trading and assembly company in Bad Laer . In 1966 a branch with its own production was founded in Austria . After almost 10 years of construction, all company shares were sold.

In 1984 an additional production facility was set up in Bad Laer: Höco GmbH. In 1988 the first press brake was used in production , which contributed to the further expansion of the prefabrication department. In 1988, what was then Kampwerth Maschinenfabrik (today Presto GmbH & Co. KG) was taken over. This saved them from bankruptcy . In 1989, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, a new sales and service network was established in the new federal states .

In 1991 the Polish production and sales company DPU was founded. In 2012 there were around 70 employees . In 1992 the southern branch was opened in Hohenstein . In 1993 Frank Höcker became managing director of Höcker Polytechnik GmbH. In 1994 sales branches were founded in the new federal states.

In 2000, Höcker became a partner in the Czech company BRIKLIS, spol. s ro with the aim of developing this company into the leading European manufacturer of hydraulic briquetting presses by bundling sales activities .

In 2003 sales activities began in Russia . In 2004 the new BrikStar series of briquetting presses was introduced. With around 1500 systems sold (until 2012), it was one of the most successful at Höcker Polytechnik. In 2006 the Russian sales company was founded. Sales of products from Höcker Polytechnik GmbH and Presto GmbH & Co. KG.

In 2009, after twenty years of sales work through machine dealers, Höcker Polytechnik AG was founded in Switzerland .

In 2011, Höcker Polytechnik GmbH took over 51% of the shares in the South African plant construction company Clean Air Group (Pty) Ltd. based in Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2014 Höcker Polytechnik GmbH took over the operational business of Pipgras Lackieranlagen GmbH based in Hamburg, Germany.

By 2013, Höcker Polytechnik had designed, planned and built a total of more than 50,000 systems. These include briquetting presses , filter systems , shredders and size reduction systems , waste compression systems , extraction systems and dust removal systems, paint mist extraction systems and painting booths, air separation systems and ventilation systems , energy efficiency systems, separators and cyclones , dust extractors and mobile suction devices, waste wood recycling and biomass use.
