action

According to the wishes of her Council of Ministers, the young Princess Solms, who is bored to death, is to be married to the dashing Hereditary Prince Egon von Isenburg. Egon has not the slightest desire to marry someone he does not know, whereupon he sends a deputy, Chamberlain Storch, to the wedding ceremony. Angry about this cheek, the princess follows her reluctant non-husband and tracks him down in the mountain air of Garmisch-Partenkirchen . There she changes roles and pretends to be a simple peasant girl Resel, with whom the reluctant Hereditary Prince gradually falls in love. Happy end.
