The Höllbach is the right source brook of the Schwesnitz in Upper Franconia .

It rises southwest of the Rehau district of Faßmannsreuth on the German-Czech border and forms the borderline for the first 1.5 kilometers of its course, then it turns south. The Höllbach continues to flow mainly in a south-westerly direction through the Rehau Forest, from whose department Hölle it takes its name, takes on the Erlenbächle and Löwitz from the right and the Mähringsbach from the left and feeds a number of fish ponds. In the urban area of Rehau it unites with the Perlenbach to Schwesnitz .
