Hölzlers Tobel is a nature reserve designated by ordinance of April 29, 1966 (NSG-00085.01) on the territory of the Bavarian municipality of Buchenberg in the Oberallgäu district in Germany . The ravine west of the nature reserve is known as the Hölzlertobel.

location

The six hectare nature reserve Hölzlers Tobel belongs to the natural area Iller-Vorberge . It is located about one kilometer north of the center of Buchenberg at an altitude of around 820  m above sea level. NHN and 880  m above sea level NHN . The nature reserve is located east of the Hölzlertobel and is only touched by the hiking trail through the Tobel at the northern end. The Große Rottach flows through the Hölzlertobel .

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of the structural and species richness in the maple-ash canyon forest and on the tall forbidden alder-ash-maple banks.
