Hüseyin Cinkara (* 13. January 1985 in Speyer ) is a German boxer in the cruiserweight division .

Amateur career

Cinkara started boxing early on. His club at that time was the 1st boxing club Schifferstadt . He achieved his greatest success in 2006 at the German championships, where he knocked out the favorite René Krause in the first round and secured the bronze medal. The semifinals, which he played with an injured thumb, he unfortunately lost. At that time he received several offers from higher leagues. Under contract with BC Olympia Rhein-Neckar, he boxed among other things in the highest league in Germany until he was injured and had to take a break for almost two years. Even after his comeback, Cinkara fought successful fights in the 1st Bundesliga for years.

Cinkara also has experience with international fights. In 2010 he was in Turkey, where he ended his fights with victories. The Turkish national team then expressed interest in the multiple national champions.

One of his last fights in the amateur field took place in Ludwigshafen , which he won. Hüseyin represented the southwest selection in the light heavyweight division against Artur Schmidt , who was part of the German national team. He finished his amateur career with a bronze medal in the heavyweight division at the 2017 German Championships in Straubing .

Professional career

He fought his first professional fight on June 18, 2016 in Neuwied against Marko Martinjak (Croatia) and won by a technical knockout. On August 27, 2016, he won with a clear point victory in Berlin against Reinis Porozovs from Latvia . In his next two fights, Cinkara managed two more knockout victories (Zieliniski and Angermann).

After clearly defeating the experienced Mazen Girke in Hamburg , he met Jakub Wojcik in Malmö (Sweden) , against whom he won safely. Exactly two months later, Cinkara faced the strongest opponent to date, the Serbian-born Aleksander Todorovic . Cinkara won with a technical knockout in round three.

He won his first professional title against Yuri Bykhauksou (Belarus). In Trabzon he defeated his opponent early in the fifth round and became international German champion. The Belarusian previously made a detour into the heavyweight division and lost against the well-known Finn Robert Helenius, which was very controversial on points. So far, Cinkara has had a total of twelve professional fights in his career, all of which he won.
