The main actor Frank Dukowski lives with his friends Tobias, Kurt and Josef in Berlin. The four protagonists have known each other since childhood. The initial dreams of a successful life have never come to anybody. At the moment they are all unemployed and have no prospect of improving their living conditions. This is another reason why frustration is a constant companion in their lives.

When you found out by chance that the investor Dr. Ernst Siebold wants to tear down the former kindergarten in Prenzlauer Berg and build a luxury Townhose, they try to thwart the plan by all means.
