The HC Glauchau / Meerane e. V. is a handball club from Glauchau in Saxony . It was founded in 2013 and was created through the merger of the handball sports club Glauchau and the Saxon handball club Meerane from neighboring Meerane .

Three men's and two women's teams take part in the game, as well as four male ( A to D youth ) and two female ( B and D youth) youth teams.

The first men's team plays in the Central German Oberliga and took part in the main round of the DHB Cup in the 2013/14 season , where they lost 28:32 to Bundesliga club TuS N-Lübbecke in the first round despite a three-goal lead in the meantime.
