HD 37124 c is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 37124 every 2295 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was captured using the radial velocity method by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2002 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 3.19 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.20 and has a mass of approx. 217.1 earth masses or 0.638 Jupiter mass.
