HD 37124 b is an exoplanet that orbits the yellow dwarf HD 37124 every 154.46 days . Due to its high mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet .

discovery

The planet was captured using the radial velocity method by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 1999 .

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 0.529 astronomical units and has a mass of approx. 202.8 Earth masses or 0.638 Jupiter masses.
