The HMS Truncheon (P353) , later INS Dolphin was a submarine of the British T-class submarine of the Submarine Service of the Royal Navy .
The boat was built on the Devonport Dockyard near Plymouth . The keel was laid on November 5, 1942, launched on February 22, 1944, commissioned on May 25, 1945. In 1968 the boat was sold to the Israeli Navy - together with two sister ships - and renamed INS Dolphin . It was decommissioned in August 1975 and scrapped in 1977.
