HMS Warrior
Four Royal Navy ships were named HMS Warriors .
- The HMS Warrior (1781) , launched in 1781 , was a third class ship of the line with 74 guns. It was scrapped in 1857 .
- The HMS Warrior (1860) , launched in 1860 , was the second steel-armored battleship that was seaworthy. She now serves as a museum ship in Portsmouth .
- The HMS Warrior (1905) , launched in 1905 , was an armored cruiser. It was badly damaged in the Battle of the Skagerrak and sank a day later.
- The HMS Warrior (R31) was a Colossus- class light aircraft carrier . It was loaned to Canada from 1946 to 1948 and then sold to Argentina , where it was renamed Independencia in 1958 .
- In 2004, HMS Warrior is the headquarters of the British Royal Navy in Northwood near London.
