HT-2 toxin is a mycotoxin (mold poison) from the trichothecenes group and a Fusarium toxin . It is one of the type A trichothecenes and arises as a metabolic product of fungi of the genus Fusarium .

Analytics

Like other trichothecenes, HT-2 toxin can be determined qualitatively and quantitatively in various test items after suitable sample preparation by coupling gas chromatography with mass spectrometry . The mass spectrum can also be found in the spectrum library of the NIST .
