Hafiz Saleh Muhammad Alladin

Hafiz Saleh Muhammad Alladin (* 1931 in Hyderabad , India , † March 20, 2011 in Amritsar ) was an Indian astronomer .

Alladin received his PhD from the University of Chicago in 1963 . He then went to Osmania University in Hyderabad as a professor and became director of the Center of Advanced Study in Astronomy . He published more than 50 papers, and his work on the solar eclipse in 1894 received special attention. Alladin was a member of many scientific societies such as the International Astronomical Union , Astronomical Society of India , Plasma Science Society of India, the Indian Association for General Relativity and Gravitation, and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers.
