Hagen Rickmann (* 1969 in Bremerhaven ) is a managing director of Telekom Deutschland GmbH . He heads the company's business customer division. This is the second largest division of the GmbH .

Professional background

Hagen Rickmann founded his first own company in the catering industry while doing a bank apprenticeship and studying economics in Hamburg and Karlsruhe . After completing his studies, he first joined the management consultancy Esche Schümann Commichau in 1998 . Two years later, he moved to the IT service provider Done Project as Chief Financial Officer . In 2002, Hagen Rickmann joined EDS as Managing Director IT , where he worked until 2009. As general manager and board member, he was responsible for the Consulting Services division for Northern and Central Europe. As part of the merger between EDS and HP , he headed the Infrastructure Services division in Central Europe from 2008.

Deutsche Telekom AG and T-Systems

From 2009, Rickmann worked in various management positions at T-Systems , Deutsche Telekom's business customer division. First, he took over portfolio and innovation management at T-Systems Enterprise Services GmbH. From 2011, Rickmann was responsible for the service area of ​​T-Systems International GmbH as managing director. From January 2013 to February 2015 he was in charge of sales at T-Systems and thus the Telekom Group's key account business in Germany and worldwide.

Telekom Germany

In 2015 Rickmann switched to Telekom Deutschland GmbH. Since March 2015 he has been responsible as managing director for the entire business customer area. He focuses on the digitization of medium-sized companies.

Hagen Rickmann is also the patron of the cross-sector Digital X initiative launched by Telekom Deutschland in 2018. This annual, nationwide series of events offers companies, politics and science a platform for exchanging ideas and networking on current issues relating to digitization. The speakers in 2019 included Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales , World Wide Web founder Tim Berners-Lee , entrepreneur Richard Branson , Timotheus Höttges , CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG, and State Minister Dorothee Bär , Federal Government Commissioner for Digitization. In 2020, the event took place exclusively online due to the Corona crisis .

Private life

Rickmann is married, has three children and lives with his family in Hamburg .
