Haidscheffel was a measure of area in fishing , a region in today's Schleswig-Flensburg district . It is a sowing measure and Schipp is a dialect term for bushel . It is believed that the newer spelling Heidscheffel is derived from Hedeby, the old name of the city ​​of Schleswig .
