Haifa Tarchoun (born February 18, 1989 ) is a Tunisian athlete who competes in the middle-distance run .

Athletic career

Haifa Tarchoun gained her first international experience in 2014 at the African Championships in Marrakech , where she was eliminated in the 800-meter run with 2: 16.44 minutes in the first round, as well as at the African Championships in Durban two years later with 2:09, 49 min. In 2017 she won the silver medal over 800 meters at the Arab Championships in Radès in 2: 17.04 minutes behind Moroccan Oumayma Saoud , who she also had to admit defeat in the 1500 meters run in 4: 30.80 minutes. Two years later she took part in the Arab Championships in Cairofourth place in 2: 09.29 min and retired at the Africa Games in Rabat in August with 2: 07.28 min in the lead and could not finish her final run over 1500 meters.

In 2010 and 2016 Tarchoun became the Tunisian champion in the 800-meter run.
