The Hakos Mountains are a mountain range in central Namibia , about 130 kilometers southwest of the capital Windhoek . The highest mountain in the Hakos Mountains is the Gamsberg , a striking table mountain with a height of 2347 meters. The Hakos Mountains can be crossed on roads via the Gamsberg Pass (1494 m) and the Us Pass (1812 m). The area around the Gamsberg is particularly suitable for hiking.
