Hakuchi (era)

Hakuchi ( Japanese 白 雉 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from March 650 to February 655 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Taika , the following era is called Shucho . The era falls during the reign of the emperor ( Tennō ) Kōtoku .

The first day of the Hakuchi era corresponds to March 22, 650, the last day was February 10, 655. The Hakuchi era lasted five years or 1,787 days.
