The Prosperstrasse dump is a mining dump in Bottrop . It was built between 1983 and 1991 as a dump of the Prosper-Haniel mine and covers an area of ​​31.5  hectares . The summit is about 94 meters above sea ​​level and thus 57 meters above the surrounding level.

A ski hall was built on the heap from 2000 to 2001, the Bottrop Alpine Center . The recreational value of the location was further developed in the following years with a summer toboggan run and high rope climbing garden, parking lot and gastronomy (highest beer garden in the Ruhr area) on the Haldenkuppe and indoor skydiving hall at the foot of the Halde, operator is the Dutch Van der Valk Group. The latest attractions are an indoor paintball facility and a mountain bike trail. The heap is less suitable as a hiking area.

To the northwest of the heap is the Beckstrasse heap with the Tetrahedron installation . To the south are the Prosper mine and coking plant .
