The Half Black Peak (English for Halbschwarzspitze ) is a mountain over 2000 m high in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the southeastern part of the Lanterman Range in the Bowers Mountains, it rises 3 km northeast of Mount Edixon .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 based on the designation of the nearby All Black Peak at the suggestion of geologist Malcom Gordon Laird (1935-2015) after its appearance determined by black rock and snow.
