IC 2017 is an interacting lenticular galaxy, Hubble-type S0 galaxy in the constellation Reticulum in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 239 million light years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 2022 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 8, 1899 .
