IC 2010 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Reticulum in the southern sky . It is an estimated 229 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 8, 1899 .
