IC 2012 is a galaxy in the constellation Reticulum in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 923 million light years from the Milky Way and about 165,000 light years in diameter. With LEDA 377455 it forms an interactive pair of galaxies.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 8, 1899 .
