IC 2019 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 250 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light-years across. Together with PGC 200219 , it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 22, 1898 .
