IC 2016 is a Lenticular Galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 293 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years across. In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 358 .
