IC 2027 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Perseus the northern sky . It is estimated to be 282 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 18, 1898 .
