IC 2028 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Dorado at the southern sky . It is an estimated 438 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 105,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 1506 , IC 2023 , IC 2025 , IC 2029 .

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 7, 1899 .
