IC 2018 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Dorado in the southern sky . It is an estimated 447 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1500 , NGC 1506 , IC 2021 , IC 2023 .

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 7, 1899 .
