IC 2032 is an irregular galaxy of the Hubble type IBm in the constellation Dorado in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 40 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 20,000 ly. In the same area of the sky there are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1533 , IC 2038 , IC 2039 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 8, 1899 .
