IC 2051 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Table Mountain in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 70 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light-years across.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in December 1900 .
