IC 2052 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Dorado in the southern sky . It is an estimated 497 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 135,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 2044 , IC 2046 , IC 2050 .

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 7, 1899 .
