IC 2056 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Reticulum in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 43 million light years from the Milky Way and about 25,000 ly in diameter.
The property was discovered by Robert Innes in 1898 .
