IC 2064 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is an estimated 422 million light years from the Milky Way and about 50,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 1561 , NGC 1563 , NGC 1564 , NGC 1565 .
The property was discovered by Herbert Alonzo Howe in 1899 .
